Club Doncaster Sports College students have received a special gift from one of the city’s most celebrated figures, after global music star and lifelong Doncaster Rovers supporter Louis Tomlinson donated a number of his personally designed shirts to the college.
The shirts form part of the limited-edition 2025/26 Doncaster Rovers’ fourth kit, co-designed by Tomlinson through his streetwear label, 28 Clothing, in partnership with Rovers’ technical partner OXEN. Inspired by the club’s iconic early-1990s away kit and featuring four stars above the crest in recognition of last season’s League Two title, the shirt has been widely celebrated since its launch earlier this year.
The donation to Sports College is the latest in a series of community-minded gestures tied to the shirt. When the fourth kit went on general sale, Tomlinson agreed that £5 from every shirt sold would be donated directly to Club Doncaster Foundation helping to fund vital community programmes for people of all ages across the city.

Principal Adi Turnpenny said ‘ We offer a huge thank you to Louis for purchasing the kits for the Club Doncaster Sports College Academy which will be used across our boys and girls teams next season. It’s a really appreciated gesture following his involvement in creating the kit with DRFC in aid of Club Doncaster Foundation.’
For Tomlinson, who grew up in Doncaster and has maintained close ties to the city throughout his career, both gestures reflect a longstanding commitment to giving back to the community that shaped him.
